Downloadable - Certificate of (Voter) Registration for Petition Circulators
Circulators must have this form completed by their Town Clerk to verify that they are registered to vote in Maine. Take it to the town hall where you are registered. The clerk will return it to you with a copy of your voter registration card (front and back) or some other proof of registration. Do this step now and send the paperwork into the campaign. It is not needed while you collect signatures, but it is needed when the petitions go to the Secretary of State's Office.

To collect over 55,000 signatures in so little time, we will need about 1,000 volunteers. We need to provide them with materials and training. And we need to follow up on the petitions. All of us need to collect contact info of volunteers. Please use this form and forward it to the campaign.

Planning for June 10
Maine Primary Election Day is June 10. Though we are already collecting signatures wherever we can, this will be a big day for us. Use this brief checklist to be ready for it!

Here is a black and white sign you can print out and then tape to the front of your table at the polling place where you are collecting signatures. Check image orientation when printing. It should be "landscape" or sideways. If not, then click "Auto-rotate and Center" in the print screen and it should re-orient to Landscape.

PETITION - TAKE THIS FILE TO A PRINTER
This is the .pdf of the actual petition. IT MUST BE PRINTED BACK TO BACK ON 11X14 LEDGER PAPER. Do not try to print it out on your own printer. Copy the file to disc and have your copy center print it out. Better - contact the campaign (Lu - 729-0531) and ask us to send you some we have printed. If you gather signatures on a form that is not exactly identical to the official form, the signatures will all be rejected. Avoid this waste, please!
LD 2304 - We are not repealing it.
LD 2304 was passed shortly before LD 2309. It simply calls for individuals to provide proof that they are Maine Residents when applying for or renewing their Maine Drivers License. It is not connected with the problematic Real ID Act, but is often referred to mistakenly! Help us correct the misinformation!

We're getting close to the big day when we will have the absolutely best environment for gathering signtures. It's a circulator's heaven. Just imagine..every person going by is definitely a registred Maine voter, is a resident of the same town, and they care enough about good governance that they came out to vote in the Primary!! Having identified over 500 volunteers to circulate the petitions, we are discovering that many of you represent many others who we don't even know about!!! ( Please forward this email to anyone else who will be helping you! ) This, and the fact that we will be gathering signatures at a Primary Election, where everyone is a registered voter, significantly increase our chances of getting enough valid signatures in the small amount of time we have !!! We have turned our focus to connecting with each of you and helping your town teams to form a workable schedule among you.
